Whitehorn Manor is Dahlia Moon's family property, Romsey-Whitehorn property. Ulysses Moon has no right to the home except that which his wife extends to. When it became public knowledge, through gossip rags that Ulysses ahead been unfaithful, life inside the manor changed for the couple. Dahlia Moon, her faithful House woman, and her husband Ulysses, in their own special way once happily shared this home. They continue to placate the masses and give the appearance that they are still living happily together, albeit with much more tension behind closed doors than ever before.

Her faithful House woman checked the door first and let Dahlia know it was a council woman at the door, the UK one. Dahlia make herself presentable, tending to any loose strands of hair, touching up her make-up, and straightening her ensemble then answered the door herself. "Lily. I wasn't expecting you." She stepped aside, pulling the door open wider. "Come in, can I get you anything? What brings you to Whitehorn Manor? Visitors are a thing of the past around here." She said jokingly.

For once her first thoughts are personal and she thinks of the scandal concerning her marriage. She dismisses her faithful House woman and looks squarely at Lily. "They? They know nothing." She snapped. "If you suspect that, we have a problem that needs to take priority immediately." She strolls to the bar and fills a tumbler with a small amount of cognac. "If it turns out you are being paranoid I don't think what is to follow will go over well, at all."
"The problem is, how did they find out what they're looking for and why it's so important? I think it's something we need to consider- inside spies, eavesdropping and things like that could all be going on, even within our inner circle. Maybe that's how they found out- how the Lyra kid found out. If she did, I don't think it will be a matter of putting her behind bars, also whoever told her."

"Don't ask stupid questions Lily." She poured her drink down her throat making another, a bigger one. "How they found out, I thought we all knew. It was Squires, that traitorous lout. It is important to them because they want to end Housing. They see it as some type of perverted human experimentation. As for spies I have never been keen on the younger generation joining in without psychological tests being administered first. We cannot possibly trust these children with the fabric of the Council's well being unless they have been doctored in. And those brats, Lyra and Lysandra if we are lucky will implode. Their connection to one another will benefit us in some way. It has to."
Then maybe a) We send spies over in return, or b) Wait and watch, then. It would be a good idea to find a psychologist, I've never really trusted the Zang boy..."

"Do you think more than one spy, going plural is a good idea? We run the risk of losing them and Optivus sending them right back 'Return To Sender'. A psychologist is an option or a simple list of questions that vaguely support of reject our goals could weed out the undesirables, and we could start with Zang."
"If we do the test, all we'd need is a simple lie detector, I suppose."

"I learned to beat a lie detector before I was twelve. We could set up a series of tests. I wouldn't want to rub any potentials the wrong way or send the fearful running before we've had the opportunity to identify them. We'll start with a lie detector for a base reading, then gradually progress from there depending on results."
"And if these remain, we can put our mind to ideas for the future."
