An alter ego (Latin, "the other I") is a second self, which is believed to be distinct from a person's normal or original personality. A person who has an alter ego is said to lead a double life.
A distinct meaning of alter ego can be found in literary analysis, wherein it describes characters in different works who are psychologically similar, or a fictional character whose behavior, speech or thoughts intentionally represent those of the author.
Alter Ego is in reference to the Latin term meaning "the other I".
Alter Ego Roleplay Wiki is as the name states, an RP wiki. Alter Ego does not imply that your characters have to look like you, they do not have to think or act like you. Characters only have to exist with a believable (or compelling) back-story, Characters can represent what you want them to. Users should avoid inclusions of Harry Potter type magic, Percy Jackson style demi-god (or God-like) powers, and futuristic weapons or devices that have not been approved by an Admin.
